thank you for visiting StateZero Media! I'm Steve, a multidisciplinary designer currently based in ConnecticuT.
My creativity began kicking in as a kid following exposure to the world of modified cars & media featuring them, enamored by the endless customization they promoted in addition to the pursuit of speed. I'd spend hours personalizing my virtual dream garages, changing parts & creating liveries inspired by movies, games & motorsports culture as a whole.
The start to my career is truly thanks to Google & their Android platform. at 14 I began building computers & modifying my phones through rooting & custom themes, Think Jailbreaking Apple devices. shortly followed becoming a regular on forums such as XDA Developers, offering advice & supplying other users with icons & graphics that gave their devices' user interface some personal flair.
I'm fortunate to have a B.s. degree in Digital Art & Design from Full Sail University through a comprehensive two year accelerated program that covered the history, ideologies & techniques of several visual mediums. FSU educated me on everything from traditional art, to the origins of the camera, to the ins-&-outs of video production from start to finish.
Since graduating, I've had the pleasure of working in diverse roles that demanded attention to detail & deep knowledge of their varying workflows. Through these abilities I've won awards, contributed to high level department organization & supported teammates with templates that improved efficiency.
I approach projects with a "goals-first" mentality, determining the desired end result that allows us to create a roadmap from where we are to where we need to be & promotes a streamlined, collaborative process. This ethos has directly contributed to the several hundred projects I've completed over the years.
